Yes but a level 1 lynx will respond to calls, and make warning calls/mating calls way more often than a higher level lynx. Hate how games hold your hand these days, i blame these Fortnite kids.

You should know that a Lynx is a hard animal to hunt (not in game though, nothing is hard to hunt in CotW), its a cat. TheHunter has a distance limit at which animals can be seen. I also think the main reason is for the non antler species, where animals don't have different sizes in game how would we ever spot a diamond fox, lynx, bear etc. This is an attempt to measure the penetration of different weapons and make a rough comparison between them.
